D.I. Smith has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University-California School of Professional Psychology. She ran her own private practice for 10 years in Georgia. She is married with a son and daughter. She currently lives in Chattanooga, TN. She writes poems, psychology/parenting blogs, and is currently working on her first novel.
